A seemingly long week comes to an end.I have kind of made few decisions regarding career and now I should seriously stick to the plans made. Let's hope this time that I remain focussed.
Invited the newly married couple for Dinner at home and had a good time knowing Kalpana and seeing Nanda and her together. We then went to their place last evening as they live close to a temple which we visit every Thursday. Had beer on both the evenings. Our man's craving for liquor seems unabated. Hope he doesn't end up giving a wrong impression to Kalpana right from the word go. Had a long chat explaining Nanda about Insurance and Taxation etc
Spent some time, this week trying to understand the income tax structure as the yearly time has come to pay,organise and manage the money.
Cricket, aah India seems totally exhausted and mentally down last week and have lost crucial matches. They also lost the first of the best of 3 finals. All the questions which used to be asked about the team have now started surfacing again. They had done very well to change people's opinions. But I think they just are exhausted. One can never write away Saurav Ganguly. This kind of situation is ideal for him to come from nowhere. LEt's hope the coming week would be great for the Indian Cricket team. It's also quite crucial to win because of the impending Pakistan tour, but more of that tour little later.

Why do I want to write? Why should I express myself? What difference does it make? Who's going to read? What will anyone gain by reading what I write? What's there to read? What purpose does it serve?
Or, maybe I have the answer.
I read somewhere that, we can only control how we respond to events, but we cannot control the event. Jotting it down somewhere to how I respond, will help me remember If and when I encounter those events again.
It might just be cathartic to write it down, it might help me bring thoughts to fruition, might help me bring perspective to the inner commotion. Or maybe when I come back to these jottings, it might help me transport myself back to an earlier time.
So will it just be a catalogue of events surrounding my life and my responses to those - Hmm I don't think so. I might also comment on events completely unconnected to me. Should I do that?
My attempt to justify leads me to more questions.
Will it help anyone else who might read - maybe, maybe not. We all, anyway draw from our experiences, we can never truly understand from other's experience. So go on decide for yourself if you want to read my musings.
There's so much garbage out there, why should I add to it ?
