Dravid fails, India fails

It's as simple as that. Dravid fails, India fails. Some of the most crucial and important matches, for India have been won by the middle order. The famed frontline batsman are just there, it's the middle order epitomised by Dravid which is crucial to India' success. Dravid is the key, with Yuvraj and Kaif revolving around him which has been the most successful trio for India in the recent times.

In Test Cricket, all the crucial victories that have come for India has been due to the staggering contribution from Dravid. Even in the Asia cup, when we were playing against minnows, Dravid saved the Indian team of blushes, thereafter his inexplicable loss of form and it's all been down-hill for the Indians. And on the other hand England has been moving up consistently. Lot of Aussies, still are not taking the English seriously, but they are in for some surprise. The Ashes this time around promises to be the most closely contested and actually England might end up surprising the Aussies.

McGrath's career is almost over, Warne might not be a great force, Gillespie alternates frequently between injuries. Lee can never lead an attack and Kasprowicz is the only true threat. Aussie's bowling is on decline. I think the Ashes would be a great series to watch, not India-Aus test series, which I think would largely be one-sided. No guesses on who would dominate.
