Day 1 - Last Session - Kolkata 2005 - Indo-Pak

Pretty Even Stevens, I guess. India did well to score 340 odd runs, but Paksitan pegged it back to equal, by taking 4 wickets. Now the top 6 batsman are gone and not much to show, in terms of combined runs.

Ganguly played the most atrocious of shot, one which he has played many time before too. Ganguly has to go. He has to be removed from the team. He can't go on like this.

Keeping aside my predictions - Pak will beat India 1-0, let me look at this objectively. India has a very slight edge right now, two reasons for that.
1. India does not have to bat last on this pitch.
2. Unlike Sachin, Rahul's century usually counts for something. India usually does well.

Pakistan do have a fair bit of batting, not as strong as the Indians, but they do have more bits and pieces batsmen than the Indian batsman with far bigger reputarion but not much to show on the field, namely - Ganguly and Laxman. It's better to have Razzaq, Akmal, Afridi, Taufeeq in the team vis a vis Ganguly and Laxman.
