Speedbreaker Capital of the World

Bangalore has to be the capital of Speedbreakers. You have speed breakers everywhere, all sizes, all shapes, all forms everywhere. It seems to be a one fit solution by the authorities for all the road woes. They are built everywhere, even where they are not needed. See a long stretch of road, build one seems to be the motto.

Control speeding - build a speedbreaker, control traffic - build a speedbreaker, control accidents - build a speedbreaker. It's a random thing, somebody decides to have one, gets a bump built, the speedbreakers are not rubberised devices that you would usually find in countries that implement thoughtful road strategies, here it seems to be built without any scientific analysis or thought, lump of hard stones and concrete mixed together to create uneven bumps on the road. The idea is not to calm the traffic or maintain a sensible flow, just shock people and the absorbers of their vehicles. The worst offense is most of them are unmarked, you wouldn't be able to distinguish them during night, which has often led to terrible consequences.

So just hop on your vehicle, move, jump, fall back and move on, might as well be on, on an elephant's or a camel's back.
