We told my daughter that we are going to visit the doctor that helped Mama to give birth to you and she had that expression like - OK, so ? Once we were in we were also very happy and proud to inform the doctor, here's the one that you helped us deliver 5 years back. Good to meet up with my wife's gynaecologist after so long.
As they got ready to do the inital scan, my daughter got very curious and was like what's happening, what are they doing to Mamma and she went and stood near her. As the gyn started explaining and pointing to the screen is when she realised and I shall never forget her expression. She came to me and we told her - Mamma has a baby in her stomach and she didn't say anything, it was all too much information for her. She was like - how and really and like super excited, but didn't express much, I don't really know what was she feeling but she was completely quiet and all smiles.

Why do I want to write? Why should I express myself? What difference does it make? Who's going to read? What will anyone gain by reading what I write? What's there to read? What purpose does it serve?
Or, maybe I have the answer.
I read somewhere that, we can only control how we respond to events, but we cannot control the event. Jotting it down somewhere to how I respond, will help me remember If and when I encounter those events again.
It might just be cathartic to write it down, it might help me bring thoughts to fruition, might help me bring perspective to the inner commotion. Or maybe when I come back to these jottings, it might help me transport myself back to an earlier time.
So will it just be a catalogue of events surrounding my life and my responses to those - Hmm I don't think so. I might also comment on events completely unconnected to me. Should I do that?
My attempt to justify leads me to more questions.
Will it help anyone else who might read - maybe, maybe not. We all, anyway draw from our experiences, we can never truly understand from other's experience. So go on decide for yourself if you want to read my musings.
There's so much garbage out there, why should I add to it ?
