Words can be construed in silence, can silence be construed in words ?
There's a website called puresilence.org, that set me thinking, silence is silence, what's purity got to do with it ?
Yesterday I worked from home, with nobody around and hardly any soul on the streets, silence was all that I got all day long. None of the distant mindless office chatter, none of the absurd seething ringtones going off, no inane conversation, not getting pulled along for chai/ciggies and yet, didn't achieve anything substantial at work.

Why?
Why do I want to write? Why should I express myself? What difference does it make? Who's going to read? What will anyone gain by reading what I write? What's there to read? What purpose does it serve?
Or, maybe I have the answer.
I read somewhere that, we can only control how we respond to events, but we cannot control the event. Jotting it down somewhere to how I respond, will help me remember If and when I encounter those events again.
It might just be cathartic to write it down, it might help me bring thoughts to fruition, might help me bring perspective to the inner commotion. Or maybe when I come back to these jottings, it might help me transport myself back to an earlier time.
So will it just be a catalogue of events surrounding my life and my responses to those - Hmm I don't think so. I might also comment on events completely unconnected to me. Should I do that?
My attempt to justify leads me to more questions.
Will it help anyone else who might read - maybe, maybe not. We all, anyway draw from our experiences, we can never truly understand from other's experience. So go on decide for yourself if you want to read my musings.
