Khakee and Amitabh Bachchan

Had a quite weekend, went out for dinner to a relative's place. Had to drive about 25 kms to reach their home and was quite hectic. Looked like Shraddha did'nt really enjoy the dinner and the company.

India was losing to Australia at Perth and were hell bent on giving up all the credit and advantage they had accrued on this tour. Looks like, moment the Aussies fast bowlers had their confidence back and were also being aided by the fastest pitch they could dish out to the Indians, the familiar script was being enacted. Indians were being thrashed as anticipated before the series. All the gains made seems to have been eroded. Yet the belief that the 'Finals' would be a different ball game altogether.

Suddenly during the end of match, decided to check out a movie. Shraddha and I rushed to the nearest theater were the movie 'Khakee' was running. Had heard rave reviews and decided to check out. We weren't disappointed at all. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It's long time since I saw a good Hindi movie and long time since Amitabh was being himself. After the comeback, I think this is possibly his best movie. Aks and Khakee are certainly the two best movies of his since last five years.
