Sachin - The Weak Link

In response to this stupid and inane article in TOI.

The crowd was spared of the ridiculous exhibition of self centered and slow batting, I feel.Thank god for Rahul and Saurav, two of the most selfless cricketers India has produced, to take such a decision.

What has surprised everyone, incl John Wright(one of those die-hard Sachin supporter) that Sachin the most mature and wise cricketer on Earth chose to wash linen in public and not in the dressing room. This
team built by Ganguly and gang are known for team spirit and unity and this cricketer is hell bent only on records and derailing the team spirit. To go public and crib in front of the world is to give a window
of opportunity, (which otherwise is difficult to find), to teams like Australia and Pakistan to work on that as our weaknesses. The whole world has watched, Ricky,Gilchrist,Miandad and Moin must be grinning now and waiting to exploit the Indian team spirit.

Shame on you, SACHIN.

Believe me, some of the most die-hard Sachin's fans are distressed in the way he plays his cricket. I never liked him and judged him very correctly quite a few years before and I am happy that the world is now
getting to see the true Sachin. Thank god, maan , thank god , that we have been able to break the
'Bombay Boys Cricketing Mafia' who controlled the Indian Cricket. Be happy that under Ganguly quite a few cricketers from Orissa, Tamilnadu and Andhra are also considered purely on Merit and not because they are Marathi's and their names end with kar's.

The difference beteen Sachin and Rahul is that Rahul crafts innings but for the team and people score around him. Sachin never crafts, only blasts the opposition, that is his role. But these days he crafts one for himself. One must be really blind to still believe that Sachin does'nt play for centuries and double centuries.

Once Sehwag was gone, it was Sachin's prerogative to take over and continue the domination. Psychologically it becomes very important. After Sehwag, Laxman should be doing the crafting not Sachin.
On a placid belter of a pitch, Sachin needs 350+ balls for his 190+ is difficult to understand. After all he's the best in the world, right !!! Had he blasted and added another 50 odd runs, we would either have had
more overs or maybe 700+

Please remember this team has players who are on 295, knowing that not a single Indian has scored Triple, decides to come out of the crease, hit right on top of the fielder specifically stationed there for catch, for a six. These small things give a message to opposition, which is very important.
