I joined the new company and went through the elaborate 'Induction Program'. The new company is huge, really huge and fits the classical 'Faceless Corporation' pretty well. We were taken through all the process, quite a lot pf processes and quite vigorous ones, but it was clear that all the people involved were just going through the motions.
The training that was conducted, am sure have been conducted zillion time before and all the guys who were involved in all the HR and Trainig functions were just going through with complete boredom written all over their faces. One can't blame them nor at the same time blame the organisation. A price to pay when you talk about 'Quality' I guess. But maybe they might be best served if there were more audio-visuals presentation. Not only it drives home the message that they want to convey during the inductions, clearly and correctly and also at the same time retains the intensity of message.
Let's see how life goes on from here.
